Ever Asked Yourself Exactly What Is The Point?
How Did We All Find Ourselves In This Joint?
Did We All Get In Line Under The Struggle To Survive Sign?
Did We Realize We'd Have To Work Every Day Of Our Life?
What A Struggle Putting Food On he Table Would Be?
That We Were Entering A World Consumed In Negativy?
All The Pettiness And The Jealous Greed
That People Would Go Against Each Other In An Effort To Defeat
I Don't Think Any One Of Us Would Willingly Sign Up For That
I Think We're Here Because Jesus Called Us Up To Bat
He Sent Only His Best Players To Play On His Side
He Sent Us With The Promise He Would Provide
He's The Head Coach, The Umpire And The Referee
The Whole World Is His Team Of Trainees
We All Came Here To Make Team Eternity
Not Just You, Not Just Me, Everybody !
Part Of The Game Is God Stepping Back And Watching As We Go
Will We Leave His Arms Or Strike Out On Our Own
Will We Turn To Him When We're In Need?
Our Has The Darkness Consumed Us So That Him We No Longer See?
I Think Most Of Have Experienced That Blindness At One Time Or Another
Some Of Us Don't Realize It Until We're Just About To Smother
Thank God Jesus Is There To Catch Us When We Fall
He Reminds Us He Died For Our Sins, He Paid For It All
And Quicker Than You Can Say His Name
He Dusts Us Off Proclaiming "Good As New" And Puts Us Back In The Game
He Never Gives Up On Us Giving Him A Home Run
For He Is Our Creator And We're His Hearts Greatest Love
So Before You Make Your Next Play, Check With The Coach, It's His Call
He Won't Steer You Wrong, He Want's To Win It All
His Love Is Our Light , His Loving Embrace Is Vast
We're Playing For Team Eternity, How Awesome Is That?
