Life's Been Getting In My Way
First Words Out Of My Mouth Are I Don't Feel Good Today
Calling Doctors And Taking My Medication
Monitoring Blood Sugars, I'm Tired,, I Need A Vacation
Late Menstral Cycles, Hot Flashes And Cramps Galore
I Don't Really Like Being A Girl Anymore
Things Just Seem To Be Piling Up, One After Another
Some Days I Feel I'm About To Be Smothered
Mike Gets Stressed And Has A Hissy Fit
There's Not Much I Can Do About It
So I Take A Deep Breath And I Pray For Help
Not Just For Friends And Family but For Myself
Ever Since My Heart Attack
I Find Myself Looking Back
Remembering This And That
Thinking About The Good Times And Even The Bad
Then I Thank Jesus For Getting Me Through All Of That
My Abusive Childhood, My Marriage, Raising My Kids, The Death Of My Dad
Jesus Has Always Been There, Even When I Was Unaware Of The Fact
I Didn't Always Know He Was There , But Now We Have Daily Chats
When It Comes Right Down To It I Know I Have Something Great
I Have A Heavenly Father And I Have Faith
I Know He Will Guide Me In Everything I Do
When I Fail He Tells Me, Daughter That's Not In The Plans I Have For You
So I Will Keep Moving Forward And Working On My Health
For I Know Jesus Loves Me Like Nobody Else
He Will Lead Me To Exactly Where I Need To Go
All I Have To Do Is Listen And Follow
