If You Could Save The World By Letting Your Child Suffer And Die
Would You Stand By And Watch As They Were Crucified
Would You Be Able To Watch Them Suffer And Bleed
To Give The World Hope And Forgiveness And The Love We So Badly Need?
I Cannot Imagine The Torment And The Heart Rending Pain
That God Must Have Felt As He Watched His Only Son Slain
We Did That To His Only Son Yet Our Lords Love For Us Has Never Wained
He Made This Sacrifice To Wash Away Our Sinful Stain
I Cannot Say That I Would If It Were Up To Me
That Is What Our Lord Gave Us As Proof So That We Could See
His Most Prescious Treasured Possession, His Only Son
He Watched Him Suffer And Die, For Us, Not Just You, Not Just Me, For Everyone
How Can We Turn Our Backs On That Act Or Possibly Ignore
The Greastest Love We Will Ever Know Comes From Our Lord
Why Did Our Lord Make This Sacrifice
So That Our Sins Would Be Forgiven For All Time
You May Ask, If All Is Forgiven Then What Does It Matter If We Do Wrong Or Right?
It Matters Because Our Very Souls Our Lord Can See Inside
In His Name We Must Always Strive To Live Our Best Life
He Wiill Know Who Is False And Who Truley Lives In His Light
