I Often Wonder What People See
When They Look At Me
Do I Look Nice And Friendly
Or Do I Look Cold And Mean
I Know What I Used To Be
Before The Lord Entered My Heart And Changed Me
Now I Tend To Be Quiet And Shy
Untill Someone Smiles And Says Hi
And I Try To Have The Courage To Do That For Others Too
Say Hi And Give A Friendly Smile, To Make The First Move
Often People Will Smile Back And Begin A Chat
If You Just Let Them Know Your Open To That
So Many Today Are Hardened And Gaurded By Events In Their Life
Just By Being Friendly And Polite You Can Spread So Much Light
Needing Kindness And Love From Others Does Not Make You Weak
That Is Just How God Created Us To Be
Needing Those Things Are The Very Proof
That You Are The Lords Child And His Spirit Is Deeply Embedded in Your Roots
So Take The Time To Pause And Smile
Have A Conversation With Someone New And Relax A While
Such A Simple Way To Spread His Light
Yet More Powerful Than Anything Else In This Earthly Life
Smile Big And Bright And Shine His Brilliant Light
We Are All So Very Precious In His Sight
