Everyone Has Dreams, Goals That They Hope To Reach
Some Seem Attainable And Some An Impossible Feat
I Always Had Just One, And It Was Very Important To Me
I Dreamed Of Acceptance And Love And Feeling Complete
That Dream Has Been A Struggle, Always Seeming Just Out Of My Reach
For Forty Years It's Seemed An Impossible Goal, One I'd Never Achieve
I Felt I Was Aiming Too High, It Just Wasn't In The Cards For Me
I'd Smile For Everyone, But On The Inside I Felt Rejected And Lonely
Finally One Day I Turned To Jesus And Asked Why Can't Anyone Love Me?
I'm Always Polite And Kind And I Try To Be Funny And Sweet
Am I Trying Too Hard, What Am I Not Doing Right That I Need To See ?
The Answer Came Into My Heart From Jesus With A Quiet Certainty ..
Child, You Have Looked To Everyone For Approval But Me
I Am Your Creator And I Provide For Your Every Need
I Have Loved You Since Your Creation As A Tiny Seed
My Love For You Is Sacred And My Hearts Desire Is That You Succeed
You Will Not Succeed By Leaning On Your Own Understanding
My Love For You Is Pure, Uplifting And Everlasting
Look To Me Child And Follow My Direction
I Have Walked Beside You In Love Since Your Conception
Jesus Received Me That Day With The Most Loving Reception
He Has Opened My Heart And Given Me A Clear Perception
I Feel As If On My Soul He Has Performed A Ressurection
With His Loving Protection, Never Again Will I Fear Rejection
