Recalling Wistfully Days Gone Past
The Innocence Of Childhood, Gone Too Fast
To Have That Trust, That Firm Unshakable Faith
That We Would Live Forever And Always Be Safe
Back When We Were Too Little To Have Guilt And Shame
Where Everyday Was Blissfully The Same
Before We Grew Up And Life Took Its Toll
Now We All Remember Those Days With Woe
Many Of Us Wish We Could Get That Safe Feeling Back
The Good News Is You Can, There's A Well Marked Path
You Can Have Peace And Security In Your Life
Knowing With Certainty, No Matter What, Everything Will Be Alright
All You Have To Do Is Step Into The Light
Ask Jesus For Forgiveness And To Be Your Guide
Ask That He Watch Over You And Steer You Through Life
Then You Will Know Again That Firm Faith And Take Great Delight
