I Stood Today Before Many Faces
As My Pastor Sang My Praises
I Had Not Before Then Fully Realised
All The Changes That Have Taken Place In My Life
I'm At Peace Now Deep Inside
Negativity No Longer Rules My Life
My Greatest Weapon Against It Is The Lords Light
I Use The Word Of God Now To Try To Give Others Sight
I Don't Take The Hurt Anymore And Bury It Deep
I Bow My Head And Pray To The Lord For The Help I Seek
I No Longer Take An Eye For An Eye
I No Longer Strike Back To Sooth Wounded Pride
I Ask Myself How The Lord Would Respond
I Speak His Truth And Then I Move On
Always Believing, Never Losing My Faith
For He Has Promised To Never Leave Me, Never To Forsake
As The Water Gently Cradled Me For That Short Moment In Time
I Was Weightless As I Heard Him Softly Declare, "You Are Mine"
I Have Been Cleansed And Reborn, Like A Toddler Just Learning To Walk
My Savior Watches Over Me, Guiding Me, He Is My Rock
