Dear Lord For Many Years I've Prayed To You
All Of The Years I Was Being Physicaly, Verbally And Sexually Abused
When My Marriage Soured And I was Taken For Granted And Used
When Goober Was Born With So Many Health Issues
I've Prayed To You For Many, Many Reasons
All Of My Life Through The Different Seasons
You've Blessed Me Father In So Many Ways
And I Give Thanks For Each One Every Single Day
Today Lord I Ask That You Hear One More Plea
This One Too Is Very Important To Me
Not Long Ago You Sent Me A Very Special Gift
Please Know Heavenly Father How Much I Cherish It
You've Given Me The Gift To Write
The Ability To Look At My Past With New Insight
It Has Helped Me To Heal Father And Given Me Such Faith
I Want To Reach Out To Others Who Have Suffered This Pain
I Want To Help Them Realize They No Longer Need To Feel Shame
That They Are Surviviors And Mercy Remembers Their Name
That You Have Walked Beside Them Every Step Of The Way
To Show Them Your Love And That There Is No Other As Great
Please Help Me To Continue To Heal
Help Me To Let Go Of The Bittnerness And Betrayal I Still Sometimes Feel
Help Me Not To Fall Back Into That Same Old Rutt
When Others Seem To Look Down On Me And I Feel Judged
Please Help Me Remain Open Yet Safe Guarded As Well
Help Me Lead Others Out Of That Dark Painful Hell
To Help Them Realize They Are Not Any Of The Things They Were Made To Feel
Help Me Show Them That Love Is Possible And They Can Heal
Once They Forgive They Will Be Able To Once Again Feel
Help Me Help Them To Understand Your Salvation Is Real
I Want To Spread Your Message Across The Land
Work With You Father, Heal With You, Hand In Hand
