Echoes From The Past Urge Me To Turn Around
To Look Back And Lose newly Gained Ground
I Smile Sadly And Shake My Head
For Me, The Past Is Over, It's Dead
For Jesus Now Holds Me Safe And Protected
By Harsh Judgements And Negativity My Soul Is No Longer Affected
I've Confessed All Of My Sins, Given Him All Of My Pain
I've Been Forgiven, His Love Has Washed Away My Stain
Never Again Will I Allow The Darkness To Control Me
My Faith In Jesus Has Allowed Me To Clearly See
The Past Is But A Distant Memory
A Lesson Learned And Regretted Deeply
I've Changed For The Better
By Chains My Heart Is No Longer Fettered
No One But The Lord Can Stand In Judgement Of Me
For He Does So With Forgiveness And So Much Loving
For Jesus Now Holds Me Safe And Protected
