Planting The Seed

We Cannot Live On This Earth Long Without Becoming Bruised
So Many Of Us Are Faced With Multiple Forms Of Abuse
These People Jesus Calls Us To Shelter And To Soothe
To Tell Them Of His Love And Compassion, To Tell Them The Good News
Share With Them How Are They Are Wonderfully And Powerfully Made
How From Them His Love Has Never Strayed
How He Watches Over Them With Love And Patiently Waits
To Welcome Them Back Lovingly Into His Wondrous Grace
Reach Out To Someone Today You Know That Is In Need
They May Not Thank You Today, But What's Important Is Planting That Seed
For One Day They Will Tire Of Struggling And Feel They Cannot Proceed
Your Words Will Be Remembered And Spiritual Guidance They Will Seek
I Know This Is True Because That's What Happened To Me
I Knew Some Godly People And I Saw How They Had Peace
They Are The One's I Asked To Guide Me When Healing I Began To Seek
When I Reached The Point Where His Love I Was Ready To Receive
I Remembered That These People Had Shared With Me Their Faith
I Wanted To Find That Healing, To Bask In His Wondrous Grace
As Soon As I Made That Decision I Felt His Spirit In Me Awake
Encouraging Me To Take The Next Steps I Needed To Take
He Lead Me To The Place He Knew I Needed To Be
He Lead Me To People Who He Knew Would Accept Me
He Answered My Heart Felt Broken Plea
Not Once Since That Day Has His Love And Guidance Ever Failed Me
So Never Forget The Importance Of Planting That First Seed
Eventually It Will Sprout And Defeat The Devil's Suffocating Weeds
Leading The Broken To The Unconditional Love And Forgiveness They Seek
Giving Them The Peace And Healing To Begin Sewing Their Own Faith Filled Seeds
