When I Look Back At How Far I've Come
The Circumstances I Have Risen From
I Am Stunned And Overcome
To Think All Of This I Used To Shun
My Heart Is Healing And Over Flowing
For The Very First Time I Can See The Direction I'm Going
I'm Not Filled With Paralyzing Fear Anymore
I Know Christ Is Fighting My Battles, I Know We Will Win The War
There Was A Time In Life When I Thought I Had No Where To Go
That The Bitter Darkness In My Heart Was All I Would Ever Know
I Was Not Aware Of The Godly Seeds In Me That Were Already Sewn
My Life Is Completely Different Now That They've Begun To Grow
My Life Appears Much The Same As It Has Always Been
From The Outside To Those Who Are Looking In
For Many This Is Hard To Understand
All I Can Say To Them Is I've Been Touched By The Lords Healing Hand
His Love For Me Has Changed So Many Things
I Can Not Tell You The Inner Joy It Brings
He Makes You Realize You Have A Purpose Here On Earth
He Instills In You The Love He Has Felt For You Since Before Your Birth
It Is A Powerful Soothing Healing Balm
One He Bestows On Us With Out A Single Qualm
For He Created Us And Knows Over Very Soul
He Has Plans For Us, He's Just Waiting For Us To Give Him Control
To Be Guided And Blessed By His Loving Hand
To Trust Him In All Things For He Is The Great I Am
Our Savior Jesus Christ Is Always Near
Watching Over Us So That We Have Nothing To Fear
