How Much Does It Effect Your Life Day To Day
Is There A Constant Loop Repeating In Your Brain
Reminding You Of The Hurtful Events That Brought You Pain
Do You Think People Remember Every Word They Say
Do You Think They Realize Their Actions Hurt You In This Way
Do They Realize You Relive What They Said Or Did Every Day
Do You Think They Know Of The Power They Hold To Cause You Such Dismay
In Truth They've Probably Forgotten All About It By Now
Never Realizing They Had The Power To Bring You Down
Meanwhile You're Going Through Life With A Permanent Frown
Replaying Every Word, Every Hurt, Till The Tension Is Tightly Wound
Pack Up That Baggage And Label Each Tag
Give Them To Jesus And Never Look Back
Receive Forgiveness And Give It As Well
Your Sorrows The Lord Will Surely Dispel
Ask For A Blessing On Those Who Caused Your Sorrow And Pain
Lift Them Up To The Lord So He Can Call On Them By Name
Ask That He Heal Whatever Conflict That Has Their Soul Aflame
Ask Him For Strength To Hold Your Head High When Others Try To Assign Shame
Ask That He Remind You His Words Are The Only Ones That Truly Matter
No One Has The Right To Judge You Or Leave Your Self Esteem In Tatters
Jesus Loves You And Forgives Our Repented Sins
He Promises Once Forgiven They Will Never Be Remembered Again
That My Friend Is How We Should All Strive To Live
Immersed In Love, Hearts Open To Forgive
But We're Only Human And Often We Struggle , We Forget
That's When We Turn To Jesus With Our Bags Of Shame And Regret
He Eases All Burdens That Are Repented And Confessed
