Reflecting Gods Light

I Know A Man Who's Faith Runs Very Deep
He Never Fails To Step Forward And Gather The Lost Sheep
He Doesn't Judge People But Gathers Them Near
He Has Good News To Share And He's Eager For Them To Hear
I've Only Known This Man For Three Years
But In My Heart I Hold Him Very Dear
He Has No Idea What I'm About To Share
Or Just How Much Of My Spirit He Helped The Lord Repair
Three Years Ago I Attended My Very First Christmas Service
That Day God Was Very Present And He Had A Purpose
The Service Was Beautiful, I Wept As We Watched Jesus Be Crucified
The Truth And Depth Of Jesus Love For Us Consumed My Mind
The Atmosphere In This Church Was Energized With Joy, Love ,And Peace
It Washed Over Me And Put Something Dark And Brooding At Ease
The Service Ended And When I Turned To Leave
I Saw Uncle Bob Standing At The Back, Handing Out His Christmas Treats
I Made My Way Up To Him And He Gave Me Such A Smile
He Was Very Handsome In His Suit And Showed Great Style
The Look In His Eyes To This Day I Cannot Describe
It Felt Like I Was Standing In Gods Light
I Could See Peace, Wisdom, And Contentment, Endless Compassion And Love
Things I Had Never Experienced But Heard People Speak Of
I Have Not Seen Such Light In A Persons Eyes Since
I'm Grateful To Have Been Witness To That Godly Gift
So Many Messages His Eyes Conveyed
They Seemed To Say , I See You've Been Broken And It's Going To Be Okay
Jesus Loves You And That Can Never Be Taken Away
Something Very Heavy Was Lifted From Me That Day
I Remember Crying All The Way Home With A Very Bewildered Husband
All He Could Say was, It's Okay Dear And Reach Over And Pat My Hand
Its A Christmas Memory I Will Always Cherish
Thank You Uncle Bob For Everything You And This Church Do
We All Appreciate it And We Love You
