The Bible Preaches That Our Tongues Are Evil In Deed
Words Are Sharp And Leave Wounds That Bleed
Not For Just A Moment In Time
Sometimes You Bleed For Life
Is That The Legacy We Want To Leave Behind
Are Angry Thoughts And Cutting Remarks How We Want To Be Defined
Is That How We Want To Be Remembered In Our Loved Ones Mind
Someone With A Terrible Temper That Kept Our True Godly Spirit Confined
The Bible Says You Shall Eat Of The Fruit You Speak
It Comes Back To Us All, In A Month, A Year Or Even Next Week
When You Get Angry And Explode You Are Admitting Defeat
Our Darkest Thoughts Are On What The Devil Feeds
He Wants Us To Gossip And Commit Dirty Deeds
For When We Do A Future With Us Is What He See's
One Trapped In Darkness And Misery Where We Continue To Bleed
Filled With Jealousy, Shame And Greed
Distracting Us From The Only Truth We Will Ever Need
Jesus Loves Us Unconditionally For All Eternity With Grace And Mercy
