I Know A Man Who's Heart Was Once As Cold As Ice
His Opinion Of Churches Was Not Very Nice
He Had Grown Up In Dysfunction All Of His Life
So From His Life Church He Excised
Then His Wife Wanted To Attend
So He Followed Behind Already Feeling Condemned
Each Week He Fought Against Getting Involved
Hoped She Would Forget Her Newfound Resolve
Slowly But Surely His Icy Heart Began To Melt
As People Drew Him In, As The Power Of Gods Love He Felt
He Denied It As A Fluke At First
Then For Gods Love He Began To Thirst
When He Became I'll He Couldn't Wait To Attend Church
After A Year And AHalf He Spoke During Praises, For Him A Major First
He Thanked Everyone For Their Prayers
Asked Them To Continue As The Illness Was Still There
All The Way Home His Wife Shed Happy Tears
He Was Finally Letting Go Of All Of His Fears
Reaching Out To Their Close Congregation
This Was A Cause For Glorious Celebration
God Works In Mysterious Ways
Sometimes in An Instant Sometimes Over Many Days
He Never Stops Listening When We Pray
When We Need Him, He Will Always Make A Way
Showing His Love For Us In A Glorious Display
To Our Church Family At AUB I Cannot Thank You Enough
For Accepting Us And Sharing With Us Our Lords Love
Of Your Fellowship We Just Can't Seem To Get Enough
You Were Truly Sent To Us As A Blessing From Above
