We All Go Thru Many Different Transitions In Life
Some Are Nice And Some Are Filled With Strife
We Start As Infants And Advance To Children
Then On To Teens , Now There's A Stressful Business
Then On To Young Adults And Eventually Parenthood
Where We Realize What We Did To Our Parents And Would Change It If We Could
Then We Move On To Grandparenting And Behold The Magic Of Children Is Renewed
Our Grandchildren Remind Us So Much Of Our Youth
We Realize We Were A Bit Hight Strung Back Then
Realizing We Could Have Handled Things Better, Much To Our Chagrin
The World Was Not Gonna End If The House Was Not Cleaned
Oh What Knowelege In Our Later Years We Have Gleaned
We Long For The Days Of The Past
Wistfully Wishing We Could Go Back
We Are So Full Of Knowledge Now
How Differently We Would Do Things, Holy Cow!
So Now We Spend Time Telling Our Children To Relax
Don't Be So Hot Tempered And Stressed To The Max
Enjoy The Little Ones While You Can, The Years Go So Fast
One Day Soon You Too Will Be Wishing You Could Go Back ...
