As I Sit Here In Church Today I Look Around At Each Face
We're All Gathered Here To Recieve Gods Grace
To Let Him Know We Are Hanging On To Our Faith
To Give Him Praise For The Work He Does In Our Lives Every Day
From The Recovering Addict To The Smallest Child
For Each Of Us God Has The Most Loving Smile
We Lift Our Voices As We Sing His Praise
His Loving Light Shines Upon Us Brighter Than The Suns Strongest Rays
Sometimes We Get Lost, Sometimes We Stray, Much To His Dismay
He Watches Over Us In Everthing We Do And He Patiently Waits
He Doesn't Stomp His Feet Or Throw A Fit Like We Sometimes Do
He Waits For Your Common Sense And Your Faith To Come Back To You
No Matter What We've Done, No Matter How Grave Our Sin
When We Lift Our Eyes To Him, Ask For Forgiveness And Repent From Within
Jesus Opens His Heart ,Opens His Arms, And He Gathers Us In
He Knows Everything That Is In Our Hearts Before We Even Tell Him
When We Turn To Him And Trust n Him Enough, The Secrets Of Our Souls To Confess
That Is When We As His Children Are Truley Blessed
Even Though He Already Knows Our Every Thought, Our Every Transgression
He Needs To Know We Believe And That In Our Love For Him, There Is No Deception
So Lift Your Eyes To Him, Surrender Your Heart And Confess Your Sins
And Behold The Power Of His Love For You As It Fills You From Within
He Cleanses Our Souls And Repairs Our Lives Daily Wears And Tears
He Wants Us With Him For Eternity In Heaven, Our Home Is With Him There
