Dear Jesus, Why Don't people understand You Love Everyone
I Try To Tell Them But Upon Hearing It The More Bitter They Become
I Tell Them Everyone Is Born With Faith
It Just Becomes Buried Inside Them In A Deep Dark Place
Someday It Will Emerge And Burst Into Life
Soothing All Their Pains , Snuffing Out Their Strife
Awakening Them To The Love From Our Savior Jesus Christ
Instilling In Their Hearts Deep New Insight
I Have A Friend Who Say's She's Lost Her Faith
I Told Her It's Not Lost, Merely Misplaced
I Suggested She Pray And Ask For Your Grace
She Said She's Not Deserving As Tears Ran Down Her Face
I Have A Niece That Says She Has You In Her Heart Because She Prays
Then Walks Around Swearing And Fighting Putting On Vulgar Displays
I Told Her Knowing Jesus Is Much More Than Praying And Asking For Things Everyday
Knowing Jesus Is To Spread Love And Kindness To Every Person You Meet Along The Way
Its Showing Compassion To Others ,Forgiving Them For Inflicting Pain
Offering Help To Others When There's Nothing For You To Gain
It's Spreading The Light Of The Lords Love To Every Person You Meet By Showing Kindness, No Matter What They've Done
You Never Know What Will Lead A Person To Christ, And You Just Might Be The One
So Many Of Your Children Are Lost And Confused
They Have Turned Away And Seem To Think That's Okay To Do
They Have No Idea How Much Better Their Lives Would Be With You
I Hope And Pray Someday To Them You Will Get Through
For In Every Way That You Have Touched My Heart And Changed My Life, Thank You
