The World Is A Heavy Burden We All Must Beare
An Intricate Obstacle Course We Must Travel With Care
One Filled With Sinful Temptations And Deadly Snares
The Trick To Completing It Successfully Is To Remain Aware
Be Aware Of Others And The Effect Your Actions Have On Them
Always Be Aware Of How To The World You Present
Are You Kind And Receptive, Or Closed Off And Cold
Can Anyone Approach You, Or Only The Very Bold
Can People Speak To You And In The Lords Light Be Bathed ?
Or Do People Shy Away From You Of Your Responses Afraid
We Are Here To Resist Sinful Temptation And To Display The Lords Light
To Help Jesus Battle The Darkenss And Win The Fight
Do You Make Others Feel Good, Or Encourage Them To Hide
Do You Help Them Keep Their Lamp Lit, Or Do You Dim Their Light
Just One Cross Look Or Harsh Word Can Darken Someones Day
We Must Remain Aware Of The Effect Of The Words We Say
The Darkness Is Not Always Easy To Cut Through
That's Why Jesus Walks With Us, He's Our Greatest Tool
When We Become Frustrated And Subdued
He's Always There Saying, Here Child Let Me Take That From You
Pass It To Him And Let Him Fill You With His Grace
He's Right Beside You, Let Him Set The Pace
He's You Biggest Fan And With Him You Will Finish Life's Race
Walk With Him In Faith, The Reward Is Heavens Eternal Embrace
