So Many In This World Are Filled With Shame And Regret
It Becomes A Way Of Life, Becomes All They Ever Expect
When Good Things Happen, They Are Hard To Enjoy And Impossible To Accept
They Are Convinced They Don't Deserve Them, Convinced They Are Inept
To All Of These People I Say Lift Up Your Head
You Are A Child Of God And He Is Not Done With You Yet
He Comes To You In The Depths Of Your Despair
He Listens To Your Every Word And Leads You Away From There
He Is Everything In Life You Will Ever Need
His Death On The Cross Was So We Could Be Freed
So That With Him We Can Spend Eternity
That Kind Of Love You Will Never Find In Anything Earthly
When We Communicate With Him We Are Bathed In His Light
Our Lives Become Richer In Blessings When We Turn To Him For Insight
His Greatest Desire Is To Become Our Soul Focus In Life
For Us To Look To Him In Every Situation As Our Guide
He Is The Greatest Thing in Life We Can Ever Learn To Expect
He Never Fails Us, Go On, Put Him To The Test
Giving You Heart To Jesus Will Clean Up Any Mess
Accepting Him As Your Savior Brings The Greatest Happiness
