The Christmas Nativity

I Gazed Out My Window The Gently Falling Snow
Grabbed My Two Furry Friends And Cried, "Lets Go!"
We Stepped Out Into The Calmest Night
In The Distance I Could See A Light Shining Oh So Bright
I Laughed As I Caught Snow Flakes On My Tongue
Sophie And Boo Frolicking Around Like Pups
We Chased Each Other, Made Snow Angels And Had Great Fun
When Suddenly I Noticed We Had Gone Pretty Far From Where We'd Begun
Both Dogs Stopped And Looked Twoards That Now Not So Distant Light
Sophie Wagged Her Tail Gave An Excited Yip And Pulled The Leash Tight
Her Excitment Was Contagious As I Let Her Take The Lead
Both Dogs Seemed Filled With Excitement At Something They Wanted Me To See
As We Came Closer I Could Hear Music, And,, Was That A Sheep ?
We Rounded A Corner And The Most Beautiful Site Was Displayed Before Me
A Manger With Wise Men, And Sheaperds, And Animals Of Many Kinds
As I Moved Closer I Heard The Sweetest Of Cries
There In The Center Was Baby Jesus All Bundled Up In Swaddling Clothes
Everyone Was Gazing Adoringly At Him, Even The Animals Seemed To Know
This Was Our Savior, Baby Jesus And My Spirit Was Set Aglow
As I Watched These People Celibrate His Birth In The Softly Falling Snow
I Watched As Many Other People Stopped By To See This Live Nativity
I Watched As Each Person Semed To Change From The Inside Out Quite Visibly
All Of Them Standing Gazing At The Display In Awe
I Watched As Thier Eyes Filled With Tears And Hardened Hearts Began To Thaw
For They Were Reminded Of The Reason For This Beautiful Season
From The Pressures Of Every Day Life They Were GivenA Little Freedom
As The Looked Upon This Glorious Beautiful Loving Display
And Remembered Exactly Why We Celebrate On Christmas Day
