I Remember Raising Teenagers And How They Thought They Knew It All
I Remember The Feelings Of Frustration When I Had To Let Go And Watch Them Fall
I Remember Thinking If Only They Had Listened To Me, I Could Have Saved Them All That Pain
You Ever Think Our Savior Looks Down On Us And Thinks The Very Same ?
If Only We Would Listen And Stop Worshiping Temporary Earthly Things
Give Up The Greed For Money And Power, Defeat The Jealous Feelings
Realize Nothing In Our Lives Is Forever Until We Go Home To Our King
Our Lives Here On Earth Compared To Eternity In Heaven Are Just A Blink
Yet Jesus Continues To Love Us And Watch Over Us As We Do Stupid Things
He Gathers Us Close And Comforts Us When We Ask, No Questions Asked, No Strings
He Doesn't Keep Track Of How Many Times We Fail And Come To Him in Tears
He Lifts Us Up And Encourages Us To Continue On Through All Of Our Years
We Thought Trying To Guide One Or Two Teenagers Was A Trial
He Guides The Whole World And Never Loses His Patience Or Gets Angry And Hostile
I Think We Are A lot Like Those Teenagers, Some Of The Things We Do Are Pretty Vile
Our Savior Never Loses His Love For Us Tho , Think About How Awesome That Is For A While
