Once Upon A Star Oh So Long Ago
They Followed The Star That Was So Brightly Aglow
It Led Them To Your Birth Place
Where They Gazed Upon A Babes Precious Face
For In Their Hearts They Were Oh So Certain
That You My Jesus Were The Answer To Every Burden
They Remembered The Scripture And What Had Been Written
Gazing At Your Sweet Face Their Hearts And Souls They Committed
You Were The Messiah Long Ago Promised To Them
They Did Not Know Where, How Or When
They Just Knew God Himself Had Sent You And You Possessed His Holy Greatness
They Knew Your Mission Here On Earth Would Be A Success
You Saved Your People Sweet Jesus
You Proved Without A Doubt, You Are Our Fathers Greatest Gift
You Gave Us Everything, The Blood Of Your Body, Your Very Last Breath
So That We Could Be Forgiven And Find Eternal Life And Happiness
Still Today, More Than Two Thousand Years Later You Are With Us
Entering Our Hearts, Answering Prayers, Listening As We Confess
Easing Our Burdens So We Are Free To Love
Enabling Us To Shine On Each Other The Light From Heaven Above
So Today, December Twenty Fifth We Dedicate To You
We Celebrate Your Birth And Everything That You Do
We Bask In Your Grace Sweet Jesus The Whole Year Through
Christmas Is When We Give You Our Thanks And Sing Happy Birthday Jesus! We Love You!
