I Am Me, Different Yet The Same
Different Because I Am No Longer Weighed Down By Blame
I Have Cast Off My Heavy Cloak Of Shame
I Am A Woman Of Deep Christian Faith
Jesus Shed His Blood Long Ago To Wash Away My Stain
Once I Learned The Meaning Of That, I Rose Up, I Overcame
No One Ever Told Me That Growing Up
If They Had I'm Not Even Sure It Would Have Been Enough
I Know Many People Raised In The Faith That Have Strayed
He Watches Over Us Even As We Wander Away
The Lord Teaches Us Many Lessons In His Own Way
He Knows That We Will Return One Day
He Will Be Waiting With Open Arms With A Gentle Plea
My Prescious Child Do You Finally See?
Do You See How Great Your Need Is For Me?
Enfolding Us In His Love As We Humbly Agree
Looking Back With Great Insite
We Will See He Never Left Our Side
He Knew From The Beginning What Was Best
Only By Trusting In Him Can We Have Contentment And Rest
