Our Father In Heaven Has An Army Of Soldiers That Help Him Fight
They Battle The Evil Darkness With Him Day And Night
Together Our Father And His Army Fight Side By Side
We Are His Army And We Fight For Him Every Day Of Our Life
From The Addict Constantly Denying The Power Of Thier Addiction
To The Child Being Fought Over By Divorcing Parents, Who Feels Great Confliction
To The Homless Person Who Finds Themselves Evicted
To The Handicapped Struggling To Overcome And Adapt To Their Affliction
From The Wife And Mother Who Feels Ignored And Taken For Granted
To The Victims Of Abuse Who Feel They Have Been Permanently Branded
These Are Our Battles And Our Lord Never Lets Us Fight Them Single Handed
At Our Moment Of Creation, In Our Hearts, His Light And His Will Were Firmly Implanted
Beside Him We Fight The Sinful Lure Of Dark Temptation
We Know In Our Hearts That True Happiness Is In His Salvation
We Struggle, We Learn, We Overcome, We Move On And We Forgive
We Do Our Best To Survive And Live The Best Life In His Name We Can Live
He Helps Us Every Single Step Of The Way
From The Smallest To The Largest Battles That We Face Every Day
When We Get Lost And From The Path We Stray
He's Always There To Welcome Us Back And Again Lovingly Show Us The Way
Our Father In Heaven My Friends Is Truly The Only Way
And I Fight To Stay In The Light Of His Love Every Day
For He Is My Salvation And My Hearts Delight As I Pray
