Dear Jesus recently I Prayed To You Asking For A sign
Things Were Beginning To Go Terribly Wrong In Life
The Burdens Were Heavy And Difficult To Bare
I Asked You To Help Me, To Let Me Know You Were There
Finances Are A Mess And We're Just Getting By
I Know We Aren't Supposed To Worship Money, So I Sent Up A Cry
Asking You To Hold My Hand And Bring Me Back To Your Side
Soon After Amazing Things Began Happening In My Life
One Of Your Children Invited Me To A Three Day Women's Banquet
The Focus Being On God And Getting As Close To You As We Can Get
At First I Was Scared And Didn't Think I Would Attend
Old Insecurities Rising Up, Trying To Defeat Me Before I Even Began
I Talked Myself Out Of Going Quite A Few Times
But I Kept Feeling You Urging Me To Change My Mind
I started Thinking About How Scared I Was The First Time I Attended Church
Begging You To Lead Me And Help Me In My Spiritual Search
Now Almost Two Years Later I Cannot Imagine Life With Out My Church Family
They Give Me Such Love And Support And They Do It Happily
So Once Again I Place My Faith In You And Trust You To Guide Me
I Know With Out A Doubt You Are Leading Me Where I Need To Be
I Remember Being Baptized And Once Again Fear Had A Hold On Me
I Also Remember The Feeling As I Was Submerged Knowing I Was Being Washed Clean
I Was Filled With Warmth And Compassion As I Felt Your Love Embracing Me
Thank You Jesus From The Deepest Depths Of My Soul For Carrying Me
I'm Attending This Banquet With Much Excitement And Look Forward To Seeing You There
Learning And Experiencing Even More Of Your Wondrous Care
Knowing I Will Come Away With So Much More Of Your Love To Share
My Light Shining Brightly, Beckoning To Others That Are Lost In Despair
I Wish Everyone On Earth Could Know How It Feels To Have A Relationship With You
Knowing A Love That Will Never Fail, A Love That Is Always True
I Know I'm Imperfect And No One Knows That Better Than You
You Are Guiding Me With Love And I Have No Doubt Through You There Are Much Greater Things In Store For Me That I Will Be Able To Do
