I Believe Everyone Has An Inner Voice
Wether You Listen To It Or Not Is Your Choice
Does It Tell You Good Things Or Bad?
It All Depends On The Kind Of Life You Have Had
Mine Was Conditioned From A Very Young Age To Lie To Me
For Many Years I Listened To It And I Believed
My Voice Represented Many People From My Past
My Brothers, My Step Mother, My Mom And Dad
My Voice Did Not Start Out Intending To Lie
It Just Repeated What It Had Heard Said Every Day Of My Life
Things Like Your Worthless, Oh Well, That's What You Get
Don't Ever Believe In Anyone, You'll Get Nothing But Regret
These Are All Things And There Are Many More My Voice Said To Me
I Was Convinced It Was Right, I Was Unlovable From Birth And Would Always Be Lonely
Then One Day When I Prayed To My God Something Incredible Occurred
My God Listened, He Cried With Me, My Anguish And Sorrow He Heard
He Sent One Of His Children To Explain It All To Me
I Went Through All Of This So I Could Look Back And Clearly See
So That I Could Realize Through It All He Carried Me
And Now That I Know The Truth, Other Like Me To God I Can Help Lead
