Have You Ever Felt Completely Alone
Like You Had No One To Turn To, Not One Single Soul?
Have You Ever Felt Like You Were Not Wanted In Your Own Home?
Have You Ever Had Your Entire Family Whisper Behind Your Back And Throw Stones?
Have You Ever Felt No Matter What You Did You Just Could Not Measure Up?
No Matter How Nice You Were, You Just Could Not Be Loved?
Your Parents Didn't Want You, Nor Your Siblings, Teachers, Kids At School
They All Talked About You, No One Was Willing To Reach Out To You
Have You Ever Sat Alone And Wondered Why You Were Born Into This Life
Why God Gave You To These People, How You Were Supposed To Survive
Abuse After Abuse , Verbal, Violent, Sexual, Just Kept Piling Up
Day After Day, Year After Year, Struggling To Keep Moving, To Keep Your Head Up
Nothing Works, Everything You Try To Get Approval Fails Time After Time
After Awhile You Say To Hell With It And Start Committing The Crimes
If They Are Going To Accuse You Of These Things You May As Well
What Can It Hurt, You're Already Living In Hell
Eventually You Get Married Thinking Things Will Be Different Now, You're In Love
Over Time Things Change And The Past You Left Behind Your Life Now Becomes
You Both Turn To Others For Comfort And Live With Eachother A Life Of Dispair
And Then One Day A Friend Shows You The Light Of Chist And Offers To Take You There
Your Friend Points Out Jesus Has Always Been With You
Without Him All The Horrors You Faced You Would Have Never Came Through
You Realize He's Right, There's A Reason You Survived
So You Take A Deep Breath And You Reach Out To Christ
Little By Little The Darkness Receeds, You Feel Lighter In Weight
The More You Pray, The More You Repent, The Cleaner Your Slate
You Realize You Have Given satan All Of Your Power
His Darkness Has Consumed You, Held You Down While Above You He Towers
You Know Deep In Your Heart You're A Good Person, There Is No More Doubt
This My Friends Is What Faith In Our Lord Is All About
So Rise Up My Brothers And Sisters And Give A Shout
Get Behind Me satan You're No Longer Welcome In My Life, Get Out!
Turn To Jesus And Lift Your Face ,, Give Him Your Hearts Praise
He Will Be With You All The Rest Of Your Days
And When You Are Healed By His Loving Light
When Your Life Is No Longer Shadowed By The Darkness Of Night
Turn To Those You Know That Are Full Of Heart Ache And Pain
Those You Know That Are Afraid They Will Never Find The Right Path Again
Tell Some One Who Is Hurting
Tell The Little Girl Afraid To Sleep Who's Tear Filled Eyes Are Burning
Tell The Parent Worried About Their Child
Tell Them To Pray And Let God Take The Reigns For A While
Tell The Wife Who Is Ignored And Abused
Tell The Homeless Man Who Has No Shoes
Tell The Child That Never Felt Any Love
Tell Them There Is Help For Us All And It Comes From Heaven Above
Tell The People Who Are Losing Their Home
Tell Them To Turn To Jesus, They Are Not Alone
Tell Everyone, Tell Them Near And Tell Them Far
No Matter How Much Money They Have, No Matter Who They Are
Lift Your Voices To Jesus And Open Your Hearts
Let Him Embrace You In His Loving Healing Arms
God Bless You My Sister And My Brother
Our Heavenly Fathers Love Is Like No Other
No Matter Who You Are, No Matter What Your Sin
Open Your Heart And Let Him In
He Will Give You The Forgiveness You Seek
He Will Wash The Stains From Your Soul And Wipe Your Slate Clean
You Will Be Able To Forgive Those Who Hurt You, You Will Be Redeemed
This Is The Love He Has In His Heart For You And Me
