Have You Ever Bought Anyone A Very Special Gift
Something They've Always Wanted But Were Never Able To Get
You Cant Wait To See The Expressions On Their Faces When You Give It To Them
That Feeling Inside Knowing You Gave Them Joy Is Worth More Than Any Gem
Our Very Lives Are God's Very Special Gift To Us From Heaven Above
Each Day That We Live For Him Are Like Presents From Us Filled With Love
Each Good Deed, Act Of Kindness, Show Of Compassion, Resistance Of Temptation
Tells Him Of Our Love And The Strength Of Our Faith That He Is Our Salvation
I'm Far From Perfect, More Of A Work In Progress I'd Say
But I Try To Live My Life So The Lord Has A Gift Or Two To Open Every Day
Some Days Are Better Than Others, Sometimes I Slip And Fall
But I Never Give Up, And To The Lord Thats The Most Precious Gift Of All
From Offering A Complete Stranger A Friendly Smile
To Letting Someone Who Needs A Shoulder Lean On Yours For A While
From Offering A Recovering Addict Words Of Encouragement
To Making Sure A Homeless Person Gets Some Much Needed Nourishment
Simply Saying Things Like Please And Thank You
Being A Good Friend That People Can Turn To
All Of These Things Are Wonderful Gifts We Give To Our Lord
And He Treats Each One As If It's As Magnificent As The One He Opened Just Before
Our Lord Does Not Care How Big And Flashy These Gifts We Give Him Are
What Matters To Him The Most Is That They Come From Kindness In Our Hearts
The Smallest Simplest Acts Of Kindness We Perform Every Day Tells Him Who We Are
When We Truly Live For Him, In His Eyes We Shine Brighter Than Any Star
