The Impact Our Words Can Be
The Lasting Effect They Have
No Matter How Much Time Has Passed
When Remembered They Become Brand New Again
Inflicting Either Pleasure Or Pain
Words Fall Over And Over Again Like Rain
They Can Either Fill You Up, Or They Can Drain
We Must Be Careful Before We Speak
Keeping In Mind The Goal We Seek
Words Are The Most Powerful Weapons In The World
Causing Great Wars And Profound Grief When Carelessly Hurled
So Please Think Before You Speak
About How Deeply Our Words Can Reach
For Once Spoken They Can Never Be Taken Back
We Should All Remember That Before We Go On The Attack
